Our living room is coming along nicely with the recent additions of Menu candleholders, Playtype posters and Ferm Living basket. I wrote before how small details can change a space and really you can see how much of a difference these few items make.

I am not a big fan of putting the sofa directly on the wall but our space is very difficult to work with so this was the only option.

I am planning on adding few shelves behind the couch and hopefully this will give some extra space that I desperately need for all the things that I either don't want to hide in cupboards or for the things I just need.

My milk lamp behind for some extra light, my favorite books for when I want to read. Having extra space for that cup of coffee when the sofa table is just not close enough will be great also!

It's funny how a photo can reveal so much more that you just don't see when you are looking directly at your space. Right now I am thinking I need another sofa table to layer the Ray one for that extra surface space!
